After already visiting several companies when looking for flooring for our new build home, we finally chose Flooring to go, having looked around their showroom and finding them very honest and down to earth and clearly knowledgeable about their products.

We chose upon a combination of carpet and LVT. Having encountered a issue (outside of their control) which set the job back, they absolutely went above and beyond to get the job professionally done by the date we had agreed upon.

Both flooring types look absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend flooring to go to anyone looking for a top notch flooring installation by a team who are clearly passionate about what they do.

We had carpets fitted upstairs and herringbone flooring laid throughout the downstairs, and it’s completely transformed the house. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

A special mention to Russ as well - he was fantastic. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and genuinely cared about getting everything just right. He was a pleasure to have around and did a brilliant job.

LVT can be installed over ceramic tiles provided the surface remains level, stable, and clean. Click systems work well over tiles, whilst glue-down installation may require primer depending on tile finish.

Premium LVT with 0.55mm+ wear layers typically lasts 15-25 years in residential applications. Commercial grades with thicker wear layers can exceed 10 years in high-traffic environments with proper maintenance.
